Santa Virginia IGT This red wine was the result of a specific desire by the owners as the first step in a challenging programme: to bottle the wines of the tenuta in order to exhibit the unique qualities of its terroirs. Santa Virginia IGT is classic in style, a wine that should please a wide range of tastes, young, but elegant, without excessive rough edges, and displaying to the full the character of the Tuscan grape par excellence, sangiovese. |

Rosato Sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon meld together to produce this full-fruited, well-structured rosé. Just after fermentation begins, the juice is bled off the skins and thus retains a pink hue. It is then fermented in lined cement vats and bottled in the March following harvest. |

Extravirgin olive oil The olives are hand harvested just as they begin to turn colour, and they are cold-pressed immediately to ensure very high-quality oil. We cultivate the frantoio, leccino, and moraiolo olive varieties. |

Vin Santo del Chianti DOC Occhio di Pernice Our limited production Vin Santo is made, as tradition requires, from sangiovese (minimum 50%) and from trebbiano and malvasia. The finest clusters are selected and then dried for about three months; the grapes are then pressed, and the must, separated out from the skins, is put into small oak casks to ferment and then age for 5 years. |
